I loved this little blue bird from the moment I saw him on Pinterest. This painting was a lot of fun because I got to use salt (one of my favorites), a toothbrush (I rarely ever use it) and a bright blue. My first painting of 2012. How exciting! I actually meant to post this one last week, closer to Christmas, but I got caught up in family card games and other holiday stuff. I am excited to see what this year will bring. Hopefully lots of painting!
